QuestionHi VTech Support, I see you've answered the question about this phone being able to be used via VOIP at least three times. My question is how? I see a port for a phone line into the phone but do not see a port for an ethernet cable. Please advise.

- Answer To use this phone for VOIP, it needs to be plugged into a cable modem that supports a phone or fax. It is not a stand alone VOIP phone.

- Answer Hi - Yes, the call screening feature of the VTech CS6949 can be set to off. Here's the instructions on how you can turn off the call screening. Step 1: Press the MENU button on the telephone base when in idle. Step 2: Press the arrow down button to scroll to Answering sys, then press the MENU button. Step 3: Press the arrow down button to scroll to Ans sys setup, then press the MENU button. Step 4: Press MENU button to choose Call Screening. Step 5: Press the arrow down button to scroll to OFF, then press the MENU button. You will hear a confirmation beep. Hope this helps!

QuestionHow does the base mount to the wall? The headset keeps falling off

- Answer Under the top of the handset - just below the switch hook - there is a plastic piece that will slip up. It is a little square with a lip. Pull that up to remove it, rotate it 180 degrees and reinstall. Now it will have a plastic tab that sticks up to keep the handset from falling off.
