A:Answer Sandy - We are sorry to hear that you are having troubles with the VTech CS6949. The error message "OOR or no pwer at base" . The message will appear on the display of the cordless handset if the base is not plugged in to power or the handset is too far from the telephone base. Make sure that the base is securely plugged in to power. You can also try moving the cordless handset near the base. If this does not help, please contact our Consumer Sales and Service Center between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday at 1-800-595-9511.
