• A:Answer Mine does not go in all the way either, if you’re like me we were hesitant to really push it in, I kinda did that but I wouldn’t push at full force. It seems to be charging as the plug into the wall socket gets warm when plugged in to the trimmer, when it’s plugged into the wall and not connected to the trimmer it stays cool so I’m guessing it’s charging.. then again what do I know…lol

• A:Answer Because this uses the older type Ni-Cad rechargeable battery you should charge it for 12 hours for a full charge. This also means you should use it until it is obvious it needs to be recharged and then fully charge it. Don't charge it before it needs it due to the memory effect Ni-Cad batteries suffer from. (Note: Best Buy specs for this state it uses Li-Ion battery which is incorrect.)

• A:Answer Dog hair to thick it would hang up or bog down. I Would suggest a simple hair clippers like the Whal color pro plus, hair clippers kit at walmart $24.00 is all you need none of all the more expensive ones. I just bought one about a month ago to replace my old clippers for my self for my dogs and a plus you can touch up a person's beard or head hair.
