• Here's a ink to the PDF spec's of your Dell D620 laptop. http://www.dell.com/downloads/global/products/latit/en/spec_latit_d620_en.pdf It's an older machine with XP. The BIOS that currently came with the laptop only has a capacity of 100GB HDD. BIOS would need updated from DELL. Upgrade your laptop to Windows 7 to install a larger HDD. Or better yet, keep this laptop for spare and buy a new one.

• probably . If your laptop was made in the last 4 years then I would say yes. Most laptops areSata drives. Google the spec for that model and it should tell you.

• If your computer has a SATA connector, it is compatible, back up your files and I believe that WD even provides Free cloning software so you don't have to reinstall all your stuff again.

• as long as your laptop supports sata (serial ata) hard drives and your using a 2.5" obviously cause anything bigger won't fit, it will work just fine. it would make your laptop load programs faster, it would also save on battery power way better then mechanical drives will cause there aren't any moving parts in a ssd like standard hhd drives.
