- Answer No, this is a WD 'Green' drive. It is intended for storage. If you are looking for a primary or boot drive, this is not the best choice. It is designed to 'spin down' after a short period of non-use to conserve power. For a boot drive, look to the WD Black or Blue drives.

- Answer Not to replace the internal drive. PS4 uses a 2.5" Drive (usually labelled Laptop). This is a 3.5" drive, so it wont' physically fit inside. QuestionIs this system compatible with Windows 7? System requirements say Vista, 7, and 8 but not 10. Not sure if that means that drivers on 10 don't work or that it would be fine as it says the minimum requirements. Thank you.

- Answer No, it's a 3.5 drive. Desktops internal. They do have a laptop drive, but this one isn't it.

- Answer should be. Make sure drive is formatted as GPT, or you'll only be able to access 2 terabytes.

- Answer It should work well. You might prefer getting a 7200 RPM drive just for the performance boost if you want to install Windows and programs on it. I use one for a backup drive. It works well in a USB drive enclosure and also when hooked up to the motherboard directly using the SATA III interface. Good Luck to you!
