- Answer No, most PS5 games (especially top games like COD will need to be installed on the consoles internal drive, due to the need of high transfer speeds. Running the game via usb would be too slow so isnt allowed.

QuestionI bought one of these external hardrives and have tried to format it on my PS5 It never rconized it or showed up on my PS5 storage option. I tried another USB and even the usb-c in front. Then hooked it up to my computer to format it and doesnt read it?

- Answer I'm using it to record video out of the air with Tablo, but it was designed for gaming storage. In fact I was in doubt of it's compatibility with Tablo due to it's design being for gaming, but it works excellent with Tablo recording. Thus my answer being yes it probably works perfectly for game storage.

QuestionWill this drive work with the all models of the Tablo DVR's?

- Answer It works with my Tablo Quad 4 with no built in storage. It's my understanding it will work with the Tablo 128GB . After connected it records to the new storage but you can watch already recorded shows from both storages. If you have the Tablo 1TB the internal drive will have to be removed before it recognizes the external drive.

QuestionCould you use this drive with the enclosure laying down on its side? Such that the metal face (with "WD_ BLACK") is facing up and still able to radiate heat to open air (if this 8TB drive is like the portable 5TB one's body, only one face is metal).

- Answer I use my WD-Black laying on it's side. The shown stand slides off for flat use. I've had no heating problem. In fact I've never been aware of the cooling fan ever operating. I'm using it for recording out of the aid TV with Tablo which doesn't tax the high speed that might cause the source for high temperatures.
