QuestionI need two drives to set up one as an FTP server to share my movie & mp3 database with friends and family. The 2nd drive will be a media server. Anyone know if this is a good fit? My router is a TP-Link Archer C8 V1 with 2 USB slots.

- Answer Hi questionator, Please know that WD Easystore drive comes with an NTFS file system for Windows PCs; macOS computers can mount NTFS formatted drives, but it will be Read Only. It’s best your WD Easystore to be re-formatted in HFS+ file to be compatible with Time Machine or exfat to be read/write ready on both Windows and macOS.
