A:Answer I tried to install games on this myself but it didn't work out for me. The install window popped up, but nothing was moving. I would say this is best for using this as a method to back up your saves and mods. If you need to make some room you should go for an internal HDD to store your games on specifically. If you're using a laptop, and you can install another internal drive this external drive would be a great alternative to store pics, and vids, etc that's taking up space on your internal. You could transfer that information to your external, and then that way you'd have more room for sim content. Another thing to note is that external hard drives are not recommended for use with Steam or Steam's games. Aside from many potential performance issues, external hard drives may connect or disconnect from the computer at inopportune times as part of their normal operations. You can try to and see if it works for you, but this might just be a good option to have to free up space on your PC so you can have more room for Sims.
