• Yes. You can but not simultaneously. You will just need to eject the drive before removing from each MBP to avoid data corruption.

• I don't see why not. I use a WD and a G-Tech on my iMac with no problems. It shows this WD is for Mac so you should have no problema with formatting issues.

• I use it for my Mac and Macbook and it works well. Of course, you have to be sure that the space is sufficient.
