QuestionIn WD website say it has a USB 3.2 GEN 1 port, and here in Bestbuy say is a USB 3.0 and 3.1?? Please you should be clear.

- Answer I have never used the USB 3.2 Gen 1 connection but it comes with a USB 3/2 adapter. I use it with the adapter on a USB 3 port and it works well.

QuestionAll of these My Passport backups are referred to as portable hard drives. Are they actually hard drives or are they SSDs? I used portable hard drives years ago, (Cross Fire and others.) and they were highly susceptible to damage with even small bumps.
