Q: QuestionWill this work with a GoPro or a Chromebook?

• A:Answer Not sure about the Chromebook. I bought this to off-load pics and videos when traveling. So far, if you insert an SD card or a microSD card in an adapter, it copies everything on the card so you can reuse the card for more. Also, it does not copy files already on the HD. And you can see the drive from a smart phone or computer, so in that case I guess it would work as an external HD on the chromebook. Hope this helps.

Q: QuestionI want to use this like a regular hard drive but i need to be rid of the wire. My laptop is a convertible & I use it for art so the wires & dongles really get in the way a lot. Can this be used the same as a regular portable hard drive minus the usb cord?

• A:Answer It can be used that way but the Wi-Fi signal is not as strong as a typical router so you might need proximity or a booster to get a strong connection. • A:Answer Straight out the box it was paired with my android However unless I put it on the MacBook ‘s USB I can’t see it wirelessly on my the MacBook or iPhone I started a support session with WD which took a while and hasn’t been resolved as yet. I promised to complete that process when I had time but I’ve not been able to block off time to do that again
