- Answer Hi. The LED of the Wemo WLS040 turns bright white after being connected to the network and then remains dim white in order to find the switch in the dark.

- Answer Your switch plate will work fine. It fits in any decora sized opening. Just make sure you have a neutral wire available.

- Answer I use these to run our outside lights on our house and this is the second house that I've done it at. Just replaced the toggle switch with these for each set of lights.

- Answer you simply need a smart hub that is both compatible with Z wave and Google Home / Alexa. Samsung Smart Things is one example.

- Answer I presume that you are trying to pair with Google Home Nest or Nest Mini. This will work with both. You can pair using the Google Home App and you will need to create Wemo account to link it. The process is straightforward and easy.

- Answer These often replace the smart bulbs, so it may or may not work for you, all it will do is turn on or off the smart bulb. While off, the smart bulb control won’t probably work. If your smart bulb is like A Philips hue, they sell wireless/ no battery required switches that control smart bulbs directly
