A:AnswerI also have an iPhone but I didn't require an 8 digit Homekit code. All you need to do is simply connect to the Home app via the Wemo app.
Directions:
1) Go into the Wemo app
2) Tap the '... More' at the bottom right of the Wemo app
3) Tap on "Connect To Our Smart Home Partners"
4) Tap on "Use Apple Home app"
After that, it should instantly link to your Home app without requiring a code. Hope this helps

I have aluminum wiring in my house. You can use Alumiconn connectors to connect aluminum and copper together. Which you can get at Lowe’s.
Just make a pig tail with a copper wire to go to the light switch.
