QuestionI was surprised (and pleased) to see that this tv has a VGA connection. Because of its size, I am concerned about the readability if used with a computer. Is this a realistic option for use as a monitor?

- Answer You could "theoretically" use it as a monitor. As you will be loading millions of pixels though do keep in mind playing games on such a Tv will be extremely steinuous. (if that was you rintent). Better your graphics card better this could be used for such a thing basically. I use a 50 inch television myself as well but for generic browsing and such due to my visual impairments. This can be a great use for a monitor. You may need to either in your graphic settings on your computer or on the Tv itself change the oversampling (TV) or the screen overlay setting (PC)

QuestionI bought this tv 2yrs ago and bought 3 types of antennas and cannot get the digital channels to work. I am using a roku but would like to watch standard TV. I am going to tv and from there scanning for channels and nothing is found! Please help!

- Answer Is it possible that you are scanning for cable and not over the air channels ? The scan gives you a choice, when in doubt, scan for both, it will not hurt (or help) but it will take longer. If you are sure you are scanning correctly, is it possible that your antenna is not pulling in a usable signal ? Unless you live within 25 miles of a TV tower, you probably need a signal amplifier or a roof antenna or both.

- Answer It is a smart TV, but is very limited in available apps. However, if you use FireTV, Nvidia Shield or other streaming devices, this won't be a concern. Just read the specs to see what apps this has on it (Redbox and Vudu) and if you use something else use your external device or choose a different TV.

QuestionHow do I connect a sound bar to this tv? I have tried turning the sound all the way down on the tv, and it still doesn’t work. My soundbar only has the red and white connection cables for audio.
