• A:Answer I suppose it could but would be awkward looking since the cord comes out of the top of the unit. The door may drag on the counter as well.

• A:Answer Unless you have a space over the oven were the cabinets are, I wouldn’t put a microwave in. I have 17” between microwave and oven. Hope that helps.

Q: Questionhow is it vented? is it vented outside? I do not have range hood. My current microwave is Maytag, model, MMV1164WWW, I think it has vent in front above the unit. i don't have any vents in the kitchen.

Over-the-Range Fingerprint Resistant Microwave -Stainless Steel the mounting of both are similar, however, the current unit and the WMG31017HZ do have different specifications. We would recommend checking out the Installation Manual for more information on the difference between the two.

Q: QuestionI may have hit a button and now my, under the microwave light will not work. It was just installed 2 days ago. What can I try?

• A:Answer I've had the same problem. Microwave was 7 months old when bulb burned out. When unscrewing old bulb, there was a spark and it shorted out a circuit board. We've been waiting a month for the part and it's still not here. Home Depot has the bulbs, but whatever you do, unplug the microwave before removing the bulb. You don't want to go through the same thing we are.
