A:AnswerI'm not surprised Whirlpool gave the wrong answer for this question. The washer has a hot water heater in the machine itself and they are concerned bleach may damage the heater. It took me MANY calls to get the right info from Whirlpool. Even they don't understand their washer! Do NOT buy this washer. Read the reviews. Picture of a week's laundry at the laundromat. :(
