NO... Soap dispencer is right above basket not allowing anything bigger than a spoon under that area.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi, there. The silverware baskets with the flaps can help to organize the silverware individually, or they can hold knives upside down so the sharp edges are not up. They can hold small pieces that may float around the washer as they weigh very little. To ensure the best cleaning, do not allow spoon to nest in each other and alternate spoons, forks, and knives to avoid nesting. We are sure this will provide great results. Thank you for your interest, Melanie
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It takes a little getting used to, but is better in the long run.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the silverware basket has fold down lids with slots to hold the pieces in place and separate them. Some of my bigger/thicker handled pieces won't fit down in the slots, but you can just open the lid then. It does a great job of separating spoons - the most likely to nest pieces.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The basket that we have allows the individual silverware slots to be flipped up. We just put the silverware in the basket without using the slots and as long as we don't cram the basket full all the silverware gets clean.
