A:AnswerI didn’t use an air gap. The drain line was long enough to attach directly to garbage disposal inlet. I did secure the drain hose to upper back of cabinet using a two hole conduit clamp. That creates a drain loop that keeps sink drain water from going back into the dishwasher and stinking it up.
