A:AnswerWeve only had the hood a a few months and so far doesnt seem to hurt the cabinets. I would've recommend this range hood because the fan really isn't strong enough to pull the steam/moisture away. Moisture forms on the inside of the hood and drips down on the stovetop. Very dissatisfied and am going to replace with another brand.
