Installation, if the pedestal is over 5 years old, we do not recommend placing a new washer on the old pedestal as we cannot guarantee they will align up properly to lock on. You will want to check the dimensions and weight of the old washer, and compare them to the new washer so you will know if they are identical in size.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Very, very, very unlikely that the Geek Squad will install this on an existing pedestal even if it is a Whirlpool pedestal. This is despite the fact that on page 3 of the Appliance In Home Services Geek Squad Service INCLUDES: "Placement of a front load washer on a new or compatible existing laundry pedestal of the same brand." Ask your salesperson before you purchase....they violated my contract and did little to rectify the problem (still waiting for the promised Best Buy Gift Card in the mail....) even after escalating my complaint to the corporate level.
