Q: QuestionWhat does it mean by air fryer when connected? Will I only be able to use the air fryer with the mobile app?

• A:Answer Hello TinaB, this model is one of our WiFi Smart-Appliances, there is an update available for the appliance that will provide it with an "Air-Fry" mode, however you would be required to connect the appliance to your home WiFi and add the appliance to our Whirlpool Mobile App to update the appliance. When the update is completed the appliance will than be capable of air frying. The mobile app and connectivity features are free of charge. We hope this helps.
