Our stacking kit is a universal stacking kit but is only universal in the sense that any paired Washer and Dryer model can be stacked with it. Non-paired Washers and Dryers we do not recommend stacking together, as stacking could make them unsafe to operate in your home.

• A:Answer Unfortunately, I had the exact same experience. Whirlpool was unwilling to stand by their product and essentially said they were throwing up their hands for any time period not explicitly covered by the warranty. The best thing you can do is accurately inform other would-be buyers that Whirlpool creates substandard products and they are not worth your money or trust.

Q: QuestionCan electric dryer (WED5605MCSKU) be stacked on top of Whirlpool washer (wfw6620hc) using the Whirlpool stacking kit (W10869845)? The dimensions of both units are identical (27w x 31d) & the newer dryer model is ~40lbs lighter.
