- Answer The soap is put in a compartment that is on the inside of the door. Whirlpool recommends using the solid soap tablets. It comes with a couple of free ones made by Cascade. Our dishes are coming out very clean using the tablets.

QuestionWe interrupted the dishwasher mid cycle coz we forgot to put the dishwashing gel. After that, the water doesn't drain anymore. How can we fix this?

If you need further assistance, please contact Whirlpool at 800-253-1301. We are available Monday & Tuesday 8 AM - 8 PM and Wednesday through Friday 9 AM - 7 PM. They will be better able to assist you

- Answer Has Both; you can let the items dry or you can select Heat Dry..(side note) this model dishwasher is very quiet also, FYI my microwave is twice as loud, while its running I have to look to see if its actually on. Very Pleased up to this point. Happy with my purchase.
