• The red light will go out when they’re fully charged. They don’t have to be on.

• You can look when it connects to your device and it has a charge battery that indicate the battery charge

• I just tried it with my pair, and they seem to only charge when powered off. Red light indicates that it’s charging. Blue means it’s connected to Bluetooth.
