You would have to have an electrician install a plug that stays hidden behind the TV. Also you would need a cable jack and anything else installed behind the TV to hide it. This product is essentially an in wall rated extension cord that connects your TV plug to an already existing plug.

You'd need to relocate the coax cable jack on the wall as well a the outlet to right behind three shelf which its going to require some electrical and dry wall experience. i would suggest calling a handy man.
