Customers are saying
Customers are pleased with the ease of use, cable management, and the neat appearance of this product. Many appreciate the ability to conceal wires and the overall clean look it provides, particularly when wall-mounting a TV. While some find the price a bit high, and others mention challenges with size or fit, the positive feedback on ease of installation and the product's aesthetic appeal outweighs these concerns. The included hole saw is also frequently praised for its helpfulness.

Best buy geek squad installed in a flash. It was able to hide all my wire with no problem. Gave my new tv a clean and crisp look. I will be buying again for future projects.

I highly recommend the Wiremold kit for anyone interested in mounting a flat panel TV. The kit allows for concealment of electrical cords and component cables without a need for professional installers. This was my second install and I would purchase the kit again.

I installed this on Valentine's Day, and it is amazing. Installation was a breeze, I highly recommend using a power drill instead of the hand crank for the saw, much faster. I didn't use the wand because my holes are only about 3.3 ft apart and I let gravity bring them to me. The plug works perfectly, I couldn't be happier. The best part is you don't have to be a hands on kind of person, anyone could do this. Great product!

These kits are great. They come with all the parts and tools you need to hid your cards in the wall! If you aren't sure how to run electrical lines safely, this kit is a must. No live electrical wires, no extra tools required, and a quick and easy setup. The only thing I slightly see as an issue is that there is still a cord that comes out of the wall in the lower level outlet box, so if you have no stand or anything directly under your TV, then you'll have to figure out how to run this horizontally somewhere else. DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU ARE MOUNTING OVER A FIREPLACE (unless you have a plug on your mantle and something to cover the outlet box beneath the TV). I strongly recommend you watch the demo video, which has a link under the pictures, so that you get an idea of how this works before buying it. Other than that, these guys made a perfect in-wall power kit!

I have a 32" Samsung LED TV on a Sanus wall mount, with a FiOS box on a Sanus shelf below it. My wife didn't want to see ANY wires. This wiremold kit was a great solution. It's high-quality and easy to install. The hole saw cut through the drywall in seconds. The "fish-pole" worked well in pulling power wires and coax through the openings. NOTE: it takes a little finger strength to pop the cover rings off, but they're certainly well constructed. The top hole is hidden behind our TV; the bottom hole is just above the baseboard, behind a clothes hamper. No wires can be seen anywhere.

Easy installation. Everything you need is included. I attached the drywall saw to my drill, but you don't even need that. The kit includes a handle to attach to the saw if you don't want to use a drill. The instructions are clear and took a total of 20 minutes to install. I had to remove some insulation to get cords to move behind the wall. If your TV plug has an angle it might not fit properly since the plug is recessed into the wall a few inches. I am by no means a handyman and this was the first time of done anything like this. It impressed my wife, that alone should motivate you.

This cable kit definitely helps to hide the wires hanging from underneath my flat screen tv in the living room. I have my tv wall mounted and having this allows you to bridge your power cord behind the wall. I'm also running my hdmi cable along side behind the wall leaving no hanging wires in sight. The kit comes with a hole saw bit you can attach to a electric drill. There is also 3 flexible rods that can be joined to become longer that you'll need to help fish your wires behind the wall. This is a great kit and I would get another if I ever needed it for another tv in a different room.

This kit was very easy to install! It comes with everything necessary to hide your cables neatly inside the wall, including a hole saw! If you have a power drill, just attach the hole saw and you’re done with everything in five minutes! I should probably add that the wall I installed this in was a non-insulated, interior wall, so others may have difficulty trying to install this in an insulated wall. The instructions were very easy to follow.
The only downside is that this is a non-standard size (it’s circular instead of the standard, one-gang or two-gang electrical box), so if you need to replace anything down the road, you’ll either have to purchase another one of these kits or make some modifications to the hole you’ll have in the wall.
Also, the rubber grommet that your AV cables pass through is a bit cheap; mine tore when I tried passing an HDMI cable through it.
Overall, though, this kit allows for a very clean looking installation in a pinch.
A:AnswerYes it would work..... You will have to cut out sheetrock and drill holes in your wall studs or drill a hole in your top plate of the wall to pass the wires. If you have basic construction knowledge, it should take a few hours. If you are not comfortable doing yourself, you should consider hiring a contractor.
A:AnswerYes. I installed mine behind a Sanus "Full-Motion" TV Wall Mount (fully articulating). Just make sure and leave a little slack from the outlet to the mount arm, so it doesn't stretch or pinch when the arms are fully extended. Suggestion: make a 'service-loop' of cable about 4" diameter, then tie-wrap it to the arm. That way the loop expands like a spring coil, rather than stretching. Similar to the icemaker water line behind your refrigerator.
A:AnswerThis product is meant for hiding standard cabling behind the wall. You're not actually running line voltage bare wire. It's meant for passing HMDI, RCA, Coax etc.. cabling from the TV behind the sheetrock down towards the floor where the entertainment system would normally be. It is completely safe when used correctly. The romex cable included is the same you would find in the walls or ceiling for your power/lighting and is a cased wire, not bare. Thanks.
A:AnswerYou would have to have an electrician install a plug that stays hidden behind the TV. Also you would need a cable jack and anything else installed behind the TV to hide it. This product is essentially an in wall rated extension cord that connects your TV plug to an already existing plug.
