• A:Answer Yes it does show up in the Google home app. Google will also lock and unlock your door if asked. But for Google to unlock your door it will ask for your lock code. It will not automatically unlock it for safety reasons.

• A:Answer There is a 9V battery terminal located below the keypad. You simply hold a 9V battery to that terminal, enter your code to get inside and change the batteries. The app will alert you for a few weeks when your batteries are running low.

Q: QuestionSince the yale assure lock 2 with wifi use up to much battery, is it possible to get it with out wifi and buy a bridge would that save battery or will it still consume battery.

• A:Answer No. This Model supports Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. It works with Apple Home Kit, Google Assistant, and Alexa. It has the lock auto lock and auto unlock features. It does not support Ring which uses Z-wave. You will need to find Z-Wave models for Ring.
