QuestionWill the key pad work if the battery goed dead? Can the key pad be used with out connecting to bluetooth or wifi to save battery life.

- Answer If your batteries die on the lock, you can hold a 9V battery up to the terminal located beneath the keypad, enter your code and get inside to change the lock's batteries. The app will also alert you several times before this happens. You absolutely can choose to not use the Wi-Fi. For Bluetooth, you can disable Auto-Unlock in the app which will save battery life if you choose to.

- Answer HI Sondra - This lock is built for exterior doors so having the keypad in direct sunlight is not a problem. It can withstand temperatures as high as 140 degrees. I hope that helps!

- Answer When I first installed this lock, I was getting only 3 weeks of battery life. I then installed a WiFi booster about 3 feet from the lock and my battery life is now consistently over 5 months.

- Answer You do have the option during the ordering process to add the keyed alike option as another product. This will allow you to use the same key on your locks.

- Answer The Assure Lock 2 Wi-Fi can be reprogrammed/reset with a physical reset on the device. The reset button is located to the left of the batteries and will fully reset the device.
