Is this unit capable of running Atmos? null

its amazing don't have atmos yet but I'm sure it will I love it it handles everything I need it for

Yes, all the current Aventage receivers are Atmos capable

Yes, this unit can run Atmos and DTS:X, which are both object based surround formats that add height information to the traditional surround format. On its own it can run up to a 5.1.4 or 7.1.2 configuration. With an external amp, it can run up to a 7.1.4 or 9.1.2 configuration. It also has two subwoofer outputs if one wants to add another sub to the equation.
