• Yes, it will pair with the iPad Pro but the case cover might not fit well for the iPad Pro as the overall dimensions might be different. You are better off buying one that is specifically made for iPad Pro.

• I purchased it for the iPad Pro 9.7 and it fits, but there are speakers at both sides with the pro version, and this one does not have the cut outs. I don't know if i got a defective product, but the hinge would not stay up if I went past the 90 degree mark and it would just flop. I am not sure if there was a weight difference. I gave my 9.7 to my wife, and I got the 12.9 and I have the product designed for it and it works great.
