That's what I have, and it fits but the buttons and camera hole are slightly off. Zagg makes a newer model for the Air 2 now, so I'd get that instead.

there are cases avail specifically for Air and Air2,3,4etc. check the compatibility on the box.

There is a version just for the iPad Air 2 we purchased a couple of those and they fit perfectly.
