- Answer Yes you could. case goes on like a glove case(only much better made). it doesnt seal to your glass so films and cover would definitly work just fine

QuestionDoes the keyboard detach and leave the iPad in the top case?

- Answer Yes, the hinge stays on the keyboard and there are magnets that hold the top part in the hinge. The top part snaps out, and the magnets hold it securely when you put it back together. It's actually really nice.

- Answer Yes, I have the cover with the newest iPad. I was told by AT&T when I got it in May that it had just come out. Works beautifully. Also, if you feel more comfortable with someone else trying it, walk over to the Geek Squad counter and they will fit the iPad into the cover. Nice, secure feel.

- Answer Oh my gosh! Mine lasted for almost two years without a charge. When I started charging it, the keyboard was good for at least a week. I think there's something wrong with your product.

- Answer That's what I have, and it fits but the buttons and camera hole are slightly off. Zagg makes a newer model for the Air 2 now, so I'd get that instead.
