• It does. Mini-USB slot on side of case. I've yet to have to charge it. It claims a 2 year battery.

• It comes with a charger, but other than the first time, I haven't had to charge it and I use it many hours a day. It certainly holds the charge longer than the iPad does.

• It comes with the usb cord bit now wall block. I have bought several over the last 6 months and they are used daily. Not one of them have needed charged yet. The battery last a long time.
