Yes, I have the cover with the newest iPad. I was told by AT&T when I got it in May that it had just come out. Works beautifully. Also, if you feel more comfortable with someone else trying it, walk over to the Geek Squad counter and they will fit the iPad into the cover. Nice, secure feel.

The up (on the ipad) is not covered at all and the down (on the ipad) is covered by the up on the case. Other than that, it works. I purchased this instead of waiting to protect my new device asap
