Amazing Noise Cancellation
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did a ton of research to find a passive noise cancellation headset, and this is the best thing I could find. I was desperate for a new headset as I live in a noisy and distracting environment, and my old headset was falling apart. I tried an active noise cancellation headset for ~250 dollars and I couldn't stand the pressure, it just felt off. For comfort I barely notice I'm wearing them, although the adjustable bars are a bit troll on the design, its still comfortable. Fits good for slightly bigger heads. The passive noise cancellation is S tier! They were right to advertise it as such. I sit 1 foot away from a screaming shower and I barely hear it with no sound playing. With sound? Yeah, I can't hear anything around me, I prefer peace and quiet and this headset is a life saver. For the volume control, I was a bit cautious due to some video reviews, but really its not too bad. I can't stand headsets without a physical volume controller, and this one has one! There is a physical indicator for when you are 50% volume which is cool. Sound quality: Maybe I have hearing issues or am bricked in the head IRL, but I dislike surround sound and prefer stereo. The headset has a detachable USB adapter to fit my preferences. Otherwise for this price range every headset will sound identical. Microphone: I haven't heard any complaints from other people. The fact its detachable is great! If you wish to use the mic you have to use the USB adapter, which is a bit of a hassle, but I play single player games mostly anyways. I bought it for 60 dollars, and it looks like its out of stock with the newer version only being sold here. Truly a 5-Star headset for its price range.

Good!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sounds good, feels goos on your ears, its good for long period of gamomg sessions. Souncard is nice you got got settings to mess around with and most importantly microphone quality is good. Its clear and there is no background noise although you probably have to tweak that. But overall very good headphones

Better sound & comfort than Razer Krakens
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This review is from the viewpoint of a middle-aged female casual gamer who mostly plays Fortnite and Fall Guys on PC. I'm no audiophile and mostly care about finding a gaming headset that will fit my fat head and not give me headaches. I've been using a Razer Kraken Tournament headset, but the band hurts the top of my rotund melon. Here is my Cliff's notes pros and cons list for those of you old enough to know what Cliff's notes are. Pros: + Ultra padded band + Soft earcups that swivel to match head shape + Removable microphone (not on Blackshark V2x) + Mic monitoring/sidetone feature in software + Clear sounds during gameplay + Lighter than Krakens (255g vs 340g approx.) Cons: - Annoying mic cover (removable though) - Sound adjustments require Razer's software - Stronger clamping force than Krakens Some YouTube reviews mention better sound without the sound card attached, but it's fine for my basic needs. I love that this headset/software offers the mic monitoring feature so I can hear how loudly I am talking, and it's crystal clear. I would use my Blue Yeti microphone for voiceovers in video editing, but the Blackshark's mic is sufficient for gaming comms. Most importantly, the lighter weight and ultra padded band on the Blacksharks allows me to wear them without immediately getting a headache. I still prefer speakers to headsets for my sensitive head, but the Blacksharks are the best I've tried for comfort...and I've tried SteelSeries, HyperX, and Logitech. For those wondering what the major difference is between the Blackshark V2 and V2X, this version has a stitched band, different material on the ear cups, sound card, detachable microphone, and slightly heavier weight. The detachable microphone and more luxurious headband are what sold me on the more expensive version. Although the mic is a bit annoying because it isn't retractable like on the Krakens, I plan to keep this Blackshark headset and use it instead of my Krakens due to improved sound and comfort. I did purchase Best Buy's protection plan since the flimsy side adjustments and exposed cord worry me about durability. Thus far, build quality appears excellent, and this old lady is pleased with Razer's latest headset. If you also have a fat head, give these a try!

||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this is a fantastic head set that has great sound. It is also very comfortable compared to the Kraken I had. I would recommend and would buy again for sure! The quality seems pretty darn good too.

Great headphones for the price!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They are super comfortable, the sound is great, it’s clear with just enough sound to cover the bass and they are just all around solid headphones. The microphone is also clear but can be slightly sensitive to pick up noises or your own voice, but still pretty good.

Save the money!! Get these!!!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've recently started playing pc games online with friends (always been more of a console guy), headed down to the local best buy to check out what was in-stock. The V2 were on sale listed at $100 so I figured I would give them a whirl because instead of the standard 3.5 cable I could use the USB sound card adapter. At first I figured there would be some long configurations or programs to setup but to my amazement I was literally able to plug them up start using, and playing. The headphones feel great on my head and over my ears, they have plenty of foam on them making long wearing easy, the microphone picks up very well and is response, and the cord running down to the USB card is adequately long enough for ease of movement and use. If I had to make one gripe and the reason for my 4 star review is that if you want your music loud (while working on different online projects or playing alone and are partially deaf like myself) they are lacking just a little bit in the actual volume they produce but the sound quality is phenomenal . Not that it is needed but they even come with and Oakley sunglass style bag for easy storage or transport.
