If all-out advantage is more your speed, arm yourself with responsiveness that’s second to none. Meet the Razer Huntsman V2—an optical gaming keyboard with near-zero input latency and fully geared out with other high-end features to make it the complete package.
Razer Clicky Optical Switches
Enjoy quick, snappy keystrokes that sound satisfying and feel lighter than traditional mechanical switches— with up to true 8000Hz polling rate for lower input latency.
Doubleshot PBT Keycaps
Harder and more durable than ABS, these tough keycaps won’t wear down to a shiny finish and have labels which will never fade thanks to their doubleshot molding process.
Sound Dampening Foam
Added for improved acoustics, the Razer Huntsman V2 has a layer of special foam inside its casing which absorbs any pinging noises that might occur when you bottom out your keys.
Multi-function Digital Dial and 4 Media Keys
Configure them to pause, play, skip and tweak everything from brightness to volume—the ultimate convenience as you enjoy your entertainment.
Ergonomic Wrist Rest
The sturdy wrist support perfectly aligns to the keyboard to relieve pressure on your wrists, so you feel less fatigued when gaming over long periods.
Hybrid On-board Memory and Cloud Storage
Be match-ready regardless of the situation when you can save and activate up to 5 on-board memory profiles, while building a library of macros and settings to call upon with cloud storage.
Razer Snap Tap
Enjoy truly responsive in-game movement via Razer Synapse 4 by prioritizing the latest input between a pair of assigned keys; Snap Tap is OFF by default and can be toggled ON/OFF in Razer Synapse

Q: Questionis this keyboard quiet or loud?(12 answers)
A: AnswerThe specific model is a "Clicky Switch," which produces an audible sound when you press a key, as well as a faint timbre of metallic echo as you execute consecutive keystrokes. I wouldn't describe it as "loud" per se (personally, I find the noise quite pleasing), but it is definitely audible, so if you are in an environment where silence is necessary, consider a different model...Answered by prufrock5150

Compared with the Huntsman Elite V1 Optical Purple
Let me start out with I have both versions of the Huntsman Elite V1 Purple (Phantom Pudding ABS Caps) and Linear Switch (PBT Doubleshot Caps). I put the Huntsman V2 Purple (right) next to the Huntsman Elite V1 (left). In this review, I am comparing the purple switches V1 vs V2. I am not going to tell you which is better as this feels like a preference thing, DIFFERENCES: -V2 Wrist is more slanted and fully cushion rather than plastic outlier on the V1. The magnet is also less strong but still works pretty well. -V2 does not have RGB lights around the keyboard (see photos) -V2 keyboard is also more slanted at the highest level of keyboard prop up (see photos) -V2 keyboard has a larger volume dial and is not slanted while the V1 is slanted on the outside. -Typing on the V2 feels like it is easier to press down on than the V1, like an easier press. -V2 Cushion feels softer (probably because no plastic outlier) -V2 has 8000hertz polling rate and feels quicker to register than the V1 (might be a mental thinking thing though, but it does feel like it registers better on the V2 optical purple than the V1 optical purple). -V2 only has 1 USB vs. V1 has 2 USB (1 for keyboard and 1 for the RGB on wrist) -V2 Lighting seems to be brighter compared to my other V1 PBT Cap (note my V1 Purple switch uses the Phantom Pudding caps so it let's light out more on the back of the keys so I compared it with my linear V1 with Razer PBT). -V2 to me the sound is a little louder. The only part that's not loud is when you bottom out, the V2 sounds softer. But the clicks itself on the V2 sound louder than the V1. -V2 feels like it's easier to type with SAME -Material feels the same -Optical Switch but V2 is Generation 2. Honestly can't tell the difference. I feel like it's more about the key press than the switch between V1 and V2 optical. Off Topic: The Razer Phantom Pudding ABS keycaps let a lot of light out because it's clear on the back of each keycap. PBT honestly has a better cleaner look for photos but looking at it, the ABS Phantom keycaps look cooler. Too bad it's not ABS =\ PERSONAL: I prefer the V1 just because I like the RGB lights and I don't like the slant on the V2 keyboard when typing. The V2 is definitely overall better, but I like that it doesn't have RGB around the keyboard for a cool RGB look. Maybe they will make a V2 Elite that adds the lights. V2 is definitely a better investment than the V1 (and the same price if you buy Razer PBT caps to replace the V1 keys). If you like the RGB around keyboard, higher prop, flatter layout than slanted keyboard of the V2, and don't mind 2 USBs, I would stick with the V1. If you look for which is better, that's obvious that the V2 is better.

Nice feeling keyboard with cool RGB effects
I really like this keyboard which I purchased primarily for my son who is into online gaming. His last keyboard was wearing out and didn’t seem like it was meant for gaming. This keyboard though is very well constructed and is comfortable to use. I am happy with it. And I can tell this keyboard was a good choice for my son. It is a great improvement over his Apple Magic Keyboard. The RGB is a nice touch too. Purchased it in sale too and I know this keyboard should easily last for several years.

Great Keyboard for a Good Price
The mechanical keys have a great feel and clickiness to them. The wrist rest is also fantastic, keeping the corner of my desk from digging into my wrists
