A: Yes, it can be turned off in the settings of the keyboard, Razer Synapse. There are many lighting features you can have ripples to ripples, waves, and starlight in one rig! It's a great keyboard I definitely recommend it.

A: You can pick between two switches at the store, right now I'm rocking the purple switch which is awesome. the other one is the linear one which seems pretty good. But since the huntsman is the only keyboard with the Opto switches, there are no green ones in sight.

A: Yes but it would be better to get a less expensive keyboard for a Chromebook
