Customers enjoy the lightweight design, ease of use, and vibrant RGB lighting of the Viper Wired Optical Gaming Mouse. Many appreciate its responsiveness, accurate sensor, and comfortable size for various hand sizes, along with the included cable and adjustable DPI settings. The ambidextrous design is also a plus for many users. However, some customers suggest that the side buttons and software could be improved.

This is a solid-feeling and performing mouse which does the basics right and absolutely melts away in a setup. The mouse feels great in the hand with a solid ambidextrous design that conforms to my relatively large hands well. Tracking performance is great across all DPI settings, and the mouse skates across surfaces extremely smoothly. Every single button on the mouse is easy to press without being vulnerable to misclicks. The scroll wheel is grippy and scrolls accurately, with a clearly-defined click. The cord remains out of the way quite easily, and holds its form well. I think the only large downside is the position of the DPI adjustment button on the bottom of the mouse; the benefit of a DPI switch is being able to dynamically adjust sensitivity in-game, and it's difficult to do so uninterrupted with the button being on the bottom of the mouse (it is possible to bind sensitivity adjustment to other buttons on the mouse using Razer Synapse, however). I was able to score this mouse on sale for $39.99 and it's an absolutely incredible value at that price, but I can still recommend it at its full MSRP as well.

This is the 3rd Razer mouse I've owned, None of them have disappointed so far. I like the DPI preset range on this one, as well as the fact that I can turn off the RGB (I know, blasphemy) to keep a low profile when I'm gaming at work, shhhh. I've only used it for a few of days, playing a lot of CS:GO but it does its job and it does it well. I feel like I've got average sized hands and the mouse fits well. Glad I didn't go for the mini as I feel like that would've been too small. Incredible deal on this as it is on sale right now right before Christmas.

The mouse is really light without having a honeycomb shell. Medium sized mouse. I use a hybrid fingertip and claw grip btw. 5g sensor is accurate enough for most casual/power users. For $40, it's the best mouse you can get. The wire is okay. Not the best but still reliable enough to not snag or anything. RGB is not an eye sore.
