When we did this we needed to change to a wireless keyboard and mouse. These have worked great for us so far. It's been a month and we haven't had to change the batteries yet.

Only complaint is that it seems that dirt sticks to the keys easily and is difficult to get off but all functionality has been great

I use an ergonomic one at home and will only order that type in the future, but other than that this is a fine keyboard!

I personally didn't like the Heavy-Click Scrolling Wheel on the mouse that came with this, but the Keyboard is great.
