It takes care of my entire 700sq ft apt with ease. I usually one have to empty it once when I’m vacuuming the entire house. Picks up dust and cat hair easily.

Beware Snagging Loop style carpet

I just wish the carpet manufacturer let prospective buyers know they didn't recommend better bars with stiff bristles be used on this type carpet... but if they did, who would but it?

Quiet, does floors so great and area throw rugs too! Only thing it does not stand on its own when casing is connected but does when its not, but it has a set place for it on stand!

Dyson power for a better price.

I have used the cordless Dyson before and I can't tell a difference in suction power. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is I would prefer it to be cordless and it's a pain to empty since the container doesn't come off.
