I noticed that very few reviews mentioned print quality. I set up the ET-2850 and printed a few pages containing both text and photos. The print quality was awful. The text was a barely readable light gray and the photos were faded and washed out. I adjusted settings but couldn't get an acceptable page. I followed suggestions from online support and called customer service. Both gave me explicit directions to clean the print heads: "This issue could be an indication of clogged nozzles of the printer. Run three head cleaning cycles with nozzle checks in-between. If the nozzle check is almost 100%, leave the printer off overnight then do another cycle of cleaning and nozzle checks the next day. The issue should be fixed by then." My test page indicated that I had printed 20 pages, and I already had to do more cleanings? Seriously? I did one print head cleaning and nozzle check again, without any noticeable improvement. I returned the printer.
