Printer is not better than my old HP which I had for years. This printer is very slow in printing even one sheet. Most of the time it is offline. It is not the quality of any HP product that I've had and I've had several. Not a good purchase. Very disappointed.

    Premium HP "Envy" Printer

I've set up just about every printer brand out there, and HP consistently gets it right. The HP Envy 6555e was easy to install and setup and took me about 10-15 minutes to get it up and running on my Wi-Fi without a single issue. HP always nails the setup process, which is one of the reasons I stick with their products. When it comes to quality, HP’s Envy line is top of the line. In my opinion, it’s one of the most premium brands for home and consumer printing needs. The design of the Envy 6555e is sleek and elegant (especially for a printer). The goldish tones give it a classy look, and the build quality is excellent—everything is perfectly aligned, and it just feels well-built compared to other brands. I’m really impressed by the variety of features this printer offers. One of my favorites is the auto-reconnect for Wi-Fi. If the connection is lost or the printer has been off for a while, it reconnects on its own without any hassle—something I’ve never seen in other brands, which usually stay disconnected after a long period of inactivity. Another great feature is that the Envy 6555e is made from 60% recycled material, and you’d never know it. I’m usually worried of quality when recycled materials are involved, but HP proved me wrong here as it feels premium. For connectivity, there’s a USB 2.0 port available (though note that the cable isn’t included), but no Ethernet port. Personally, I think an Ethernet port is more important than a USB 2.0 port, especially in households where a stable wired connection might be preferred. There’s also no USB Type-A or C port, which is a feature I miss for quick printing from a flash drive. However, this is mostly solved with wireless printing from any device, including phones. The document scanner on the top is a required feature for me. It holds up to 35 sheets, which is perfect for scanning documents and making it efficient. The bottom paper tray holds 100 sheets of regular paper. While I wish it held a bit more, I appreciate that it keeps the paper stored out of sight and protected from dust. The colored touchscreen is another must-have for me when selecting a printer, and the screen on the 6555e is a definite upgrade from previous models. It’s small, but it’s high-quality and works really well for navigating through options. Lastly, HP offers a 3-month free trial of their Instant Ink subscription service, which has a variety of plans based on your needs. It’s a great option to explore if you want the convenience of ink delivery before you run out. The HP Envy 6555e combines solid design, reliability, and great features, making it an excellent choice for home or small office use.

I had to return this printer. The screen is tiny, graphics on it are impossible to see, could not enter network information on the little bitty keyboard. It's a shame, as I loved the looks of the printer. Now have another brand with a normal size screen.
