A laptop for those with disposable income, a strong desire to leave the laptop docked/attached to a charger and does not want to use cloud gaming – ever? What was impressive with this device? Keyboard and front edge lighting, transparent qwerasdf keys and space bar. Movie & streaming playback quality and sound was phenomenal. Downloaded or emulated games played very well. No hiccups playing Goldeneye or Crusin’ on project64 or playing any downloaded games through my xbox app. Using a wired controller was best for response time and had no input delays, but I did have a few issues when bluetooth connecting my xbox remote. What is bad? ASUS Support: I contacted them 3 days ago to see what I could do to fix or reduce all of the problems I have listed below, and nobody has reached back out to me yet. Battery Life: No matter what I did on this laptop, while not connected to a charger I was losing 2-4% battery life PER MINUTE. For 3 different use cycles, a 100% battery was drained down to less than 30% battery in 45 minutes. The first test, I just had windows updates, ASUS software updates, and a game downloading in the background. 45 minutes later, power saving kicked in and I had to connect the laptop to a charger. For the second test I went through some emails, played Microsoft solitaire for 20 mins, and had the keyboard backlight on, which produced the same results (after 45 minutes, I was prompted to plug it back into the charger.) For the last test, I have been trying to take some screenshots while writing this review…I’m at the 20 minute mark and I lost 40% of my battery life already ☹ Cloud Gaming: These aren’t the non-downloaded games you are looking for… I tried to use xbox cloud gaming three different times, with 3 different games and all of them were blurry/choppy, had severe input lag, and were entirely UNPLAYABLE. So, why 2 stars? Since the retail price of this laptop is $2,000, and is touted as a gaming laptop, how is it this device cannot play any games from the cloud, and no matter how you use it, you can only leave it off a charger for no more than 50 minutes before you hit critical battery drain levels? If you have a really short attention span (to stop what you are doing to run and plug this back into a charger) or if you hit it big on crypto or in the last bull market cycle on some stocks, this might be the laptop for you. If you had an expectation to play all kinds of games with this laptop or actually be able to use it for more than an hour off the charger then my suggestion is to keep looking.

Overall this is a very stable laptop, it handles all the new games very well and doesnt feel as heavy as it is. I did buy it as a temporary use, so I will be getting rid of it soon, but it is a very solid laptop. Very happy with it.

Great performance! with a solid build. My only issue is the display brightness and quality. For the price point I would have liked at least a QHD display at least 400 to 500 nits but I believe they probably downsized the RAM & screen quality to keep the costs down all while getting into the RTX 5070TI GPU. I recommend getting a higher-quality external monitor to take full advantage of the GPU's abilities. Other than that, it is a powerhouse & runs AAA games very smooth.

The computer is very fast, the fans keep the computer at a maximum of 80 degrees, and games can be played at maximum quality without any problems. I use it for architecture, and it supports rendering and 3D modeling programs perfectly. In short, it's a very good machine.

Absolutely Amazing, Everything i asked for and more i produce on fl studio play games with ray tracing and watch movies in 3d it handles it all. Def go for a laptop cooler just to be safe but the air flow was really well designed on this one compared to my old m15 zephyrus 2020

Handles AAA games with ease. 165Hz refresh rate gives smooth, responsive visuals. Ryzen 9 and NVIDIA GPU deliver fast, consistent performance. 16GB RAM is enough for gaming, streaming, and multitasking. Thermals are well-managed but fans get loud during intense use. RGB keyboard adds a clean touch. Great pick for serious gamers and creators. Rating: 5/5

I adore this laptop. It's so beefy and can handle just about anything currently out at high settings or better, but most importantly to me it is quiet and cool. The fan system ASUS created for this beast really cuts down on noise and heat, making it very comfortable to use at home near my family. The screen is good but just good, not great. Older LED tech and it shows.

Bought this just to try out if gaming laptop is for me or not but ended up loving this little machine so much that I’m keeping it instead of building a PC. The 5070 ti in this thing handles most of the games I throw at it at max settings, granted the resolution in this model is only 1200p but the screen looks fast, crispy and nice enough for me and no issues at all. The CPU is super capable as well no complaints and it compliments my he you well. Only cons I can think of is maybe how loud the fans are when you set it up to Turbo or Manual but it’s a laptop and it’s a beast for the price so not really a deal breaker for me. Upgrading the ram and ssd is super easy as well so overall, I’m super happy with this thing. Most likely last me a few years before I even think about upgrading or build another PC

This laptop is amazing! It can run any game on high to ultra settings, and the CPU and GPU stay cool even under heavy load. The 165Hz refresh rate on the screen is also fantastic. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to game on the go.

So far this laptop has worked wonderfully. I can play games easily without lag, or shutting down, the graphics are great. The best part is it doesn't heat up like crazy even if I play for over an hour. This is a great gaming laptop.

This laptop may leave a bit to be desired in the screen department. It's an IPS 1920x1200 screen at 165hz. Is it an OLED? Nope, 240hz? Nope, but you've got one of the best laptop GPU's on the market that can keep most games just glued at 165 fps instead of of a 5060 struggling and using AI frame gen to get decent frame rates. At an open box excellent price of $1250 it truly is a no brainer.

An absolute fantastic machine. I bought it after buying the HP Victus 16.1 /w 4070 a few months back. It feels like another device completely, no chunkiness but feels sturdier, fan noise is by far lower, performance are over the top, not that I can compare - the specs here are a lot better. Also, it's a lot nicer in looks and general feel. It's the cheapest and best gaming laptop available in the world by a known brand name. I'm thinking about anything negative to say, and just can't. What a piece of technology that brings such light to a gamer+creator+local AI user's life. I can't belive I got this miracle into my life for 1600~$ after shipping and tax. Oh, also, it has a dedicated battery care feature as I don't leave home with it much, to only charge to 80% so it won't hurt the battery after two years of constant charging to 100%.

Coming from an hp victus, this laptop is great. Its able to handle triple A games at high and even ultra settings while getting over 60fps. The screen is good for me as I’m not very picky on what screen I use as long as I can see everything and it’s very smoove. Also having a 3ms input latency is great. Battery life is what you expect from a gaming laptop. It can handle everyday tasks with a couple hours left over but most wouldn’t get a gaming laptop without trying to be plugged in during gaming sessions. Overall a great laptop that exceeded my expectations. Would definitely recommend for any gamer if a screen is not the biggest deal in the world to you

I give this 5 stars because the only problem was user error. My 10 (who the computer was for) and I downloaded the wrong game app version. It took my daughter 10 minutes to delete the wrong version, install the windows one and get everything working great. We've had no problem since then.

After havin it for a month, while its not the best gaming item i have had, for a gaming laptop, it does exactly what i want it to do, and honestly surprised me with the performance and is actually better than my friends desktop, not better than mine, but its actually close. While it does have some bugs every now and again, like sound skipping every now and again while gaming, and sometimes when i plug in my laptop in, it can freeze my whole screen and i have to restart the computer, but it hasent happend in a while so an update could have fixed that. all in all, it gets what i want done with work and school, and when i get the chance to plug in, im very satisfied with how it runs.

The processor initially looks kind of a weird choice, but when you compare it performance/price-wise with the higher end model, this becomes a no-brainer. Very easy to upgrade and well built, and with the advantage that with asus there is an alternative software you can use in place of the clunky armoury crate (other brands you’re forced into using whatever proprietary crap they ship with) this becomes a superb value high end laptop gaming rig. When discounted there is no argument. The only not so good thing about it on my opinion is the screen, but still it has very acceptable image quality.
