Associate helped me choose this. I had my tv plugged into a power strip with little protection and it was old. He told me an upgrade was needed but the $40 protector was not necessary, the $20 was fine. Just bought two more for use with other products in the house. If you get an associate who really know their products it makes a huge difference.

I bought this surge protector because of the high number of joules that it could handle. I recently lost a TV because of a surge. This protector was easy to use and allowed me to hook up a number of devices regardless of the plug type.

This has enabled me to use an outlet that has issues with hold in plugs. The thickness of the prongs hold on tight in the outlet and it is very sturdy. It has loads of sockets for future use, so I can see that it will come in handy.

This product was on the cheaper side as I wanted it for just my printer. Saw no reason to buy the expensive ones. Well we had a surge...my expensive one on my TV gave up on life and this cheap one is still going....

Has plenty of electrical connections and helps me to integrate many of the gadgets I have, telephone, Television, Bluray player, VHS and DVD players, cable box, modem and router for my wireless internet. Great buy if many connections are needed. I would recommend it for the quality and price of this excellent unit

This is a more powerful surge protector than my previous ones (I purchased two additional Rocketfish surge protectors, which were also good, but less powerful). The level of protection is superior, which is good for a 4K TV.

This surge protector does its job and gives me a lot of outlets for Smart Devices. I would recommend this for anyone looking to add more sockets for use with a computer and other efficient low power electronics.

Great purchase. Great price. Great function. The outlets are spaced out with enough room for the electronics on my desk and I have a few left over for those times when I need an extra outlet for a bit. Highly recommended.

This has two jobs: provide more ports, and protect against electrical surges. It definitely succeeds at providing a bunch of working power ports, and I hope to not find out about the protection capabilities any time soon.

We were looking for a better surge protector that had more than the normal six outlets, and I stumbled upon this one at Best Buy. It fits and works perfectly for what we have in our den/office area at home.

excellent surge protector. has plenty of ports and is lightweight and compact.lights on unit are not too bright so they do not distract ..plenty of space between plugs so you can plug bigger plug ins close to each other

The outlet surge protector does a great job. I haven't had any problems with it. It does protect when there is an electrical surge because we've had two of them. Thankfully no problems, works great.

This surge protector isn't cheap, but is well worth the price. Love how if you're not using one of the outlets, you can simply move the tab and it closes the outlet so nothing else gets in it. It's design configuration is good, too for those power supplies that are a little bigger. So not only does it accommodate a regular power plug, but other power supplies with extra room to fit 3 different power supplies, but regular plugs. If you used one of those cheap power surge protectors, you often have to give up a couple or more outlets just to plug in the power supply. Not here, well, unless you have more than 3 big ones. And not all the outlets are facing the same direction, which allows you to use every single one of the outlets. Love it!!!

Been looking for a good surge protector. Saw this one and liked it. It is not offensive looking like most surge protectors and is big enough to take care of my needs. Being on sale was just a plus!

Have not used it long but works as described so far, have not had a surge yet. I have a coulple of Insignia HD radios which have been working very well so I hope this will as well. As stated in the descriptionn it has 11 surge protected outlets with four of them being spaced for transformers. This makes it larger than my old one. First I wondered why it looks/is so musch bigger but the I counted the outlets on my old surge protector and it has only eight. This Insignia surge protector is 11" long by 5" wide and about 1 1/2" high,so it is quite large and somewhat oval shaped (makes it look even bigger) which may be a problem when there is little space. But then it has 11 outlets and they do have to go somewhere.

I think this is the perfect unit for electronic safety in the home. I feel comfortable with this surge protector, and it has a lot of outlets for charging devices, desktop computer plugs, etc.

Spacing is the key to success with this surge protector. I have a couple of large square plug-ins that encroached on the next plug space. Very easy to clean and use.

Bought it for the 11 outlets. And the separation between outlets to plug in the bulky transformer outlets. Works great. Mounted it on the wall for use with my cable, modem, router, storage, etc.

This strip is the perfect size for plugging in multiple chargers for cell phones, computers, and other AV items at a trade show exhibit booth. Nice to have room for plugs of different sizes and shapes.

I really like the generously long power cord - 6 feet as opposed to 3 or 4 feet with most models in this price range. The outlets are conveniently spaced to allow for multiple plug-in transformers.
