Did a good job getting computer set up, have not needed for anything else

Works pretty good at first then gets slow overall good

Depends on what the issue is as to whether or not I would use them.

I was happy with previously purchased protection 18m ago; this protection is missing multiple things - More expensive - No antivirus protection given during the 2 year protection - Support service cannot be combined with previously bought protection (each protection can cover 3 PC's)

I PURCHSED THE TWO YEAR EXTRA PROTECTION. SEEMED LIKE A GOOD IDE.

I never actually had to use it but it was there in case.

Fortunately I haven't had to use this yet. So far so good!

I took this laptop to the shop SEVERAL times to get the same thing fixed to get the laptop connected to the internet almost the full two years i had the protection plan (off and on since I'm always working and it wasn't used a lot since its for an older woman (mother) who isn't a computer addict.0 Finally on the last trip to shop they decide to replace everything in it and when they know the warranty is about to expire. Now two months later the battery IS SHOT or something else now it doesn't come on at all. So i guess they warranted fixed useless parts or made it worse just to force me to get the warranty. However i was too broke at that time to extend it.

Purchased Dell Inspiron and Office 2016 as well as 2-yr Geek Squad Protect & Support Plus on 11/18/15 (still in warranty). Hard drive died in 3/17 & had replaced, but software was not on computer when I got it back (no fault of my own). I tried 3 times via phone with Geek Squad to get this rectified with no success. Just spent 45 mins on phone with them only to be told there's nothing they can do because I can't find some card with an access code on it. So I either have to buy AGAIN or do without? How helpful is THAT? I will never purchase another thing from Best Buy or Geek Squad again and will tell everyone who will listen what a bad experience I had. Not good business, Best Buy.

This was a complete waste of money the sales associate Mis informed me of the coverage on the laptop, i happened to get into a bad car accident and my car caught on fire the laptop was completely destroyed and i showed proof to geek squad and they said they couldn’t help me... they told me no matter hat happens to the laptop I’m covered (screen breaks , spilled coffee on it, it snaps in half whatever happens i can get a replacement) now i go after the car accident and I’m told i can’t be helped because of the policy’s need the laptop ... it burned in the car what did i pay for the protection for ? And i financed the laptop on top of that

Salesman told us the computer would be all setup when we came to pick it up. Went to the Geek Squad and was told we would have to pickup the computer the day or set it up are selves. Weren't busy but refused to help. So we did it are selves.

I wish the Geek Squad were all on the same level technically. It takes a while to get through. Never contact them at night, you can wait forever. I wish the warranty was more like Dell. They have techs who come to your home.

Unfortunately I've had terrible experience with some of the geek squad members at the S. Virginia Best Buy. The reps I've had to work with trying to get my devices fixed have an arrogant attitude. Often I've been told in their words of how ignorant one is to not know how a electronics work. I am very disappointed at the fact that asking and answering questions politely is so hard for them to do, instead I've even gotten responses with a raised voice and sarcastic tones. I've lost programs in certain devices mostly because the geek squad members don't care to explain what could happen. I cannot express enough how frustrated I feel at their treatment.
