    Geek Squad dropped my $1500 laptop causing severe damaged to the exterior; cracked the panel; returned it to me WITHOUT DISCLOSING THEY DROPPED IT; returned it damaged; kept me on hold day after day for hours; lied on phone; rude; THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER; received it back again and IT IS STILL DAMAGED.

    The computer was broken, we returned it and after 3 weeks, it was not fixed. The internet does not work and my son can't use the computer for college. We purchased this to support him in college and it did not work. Should have purchased an apple. They support their product in much less time. Very dissappointed!

    OK I have tried geek squad product seven times since I got the laptop in December they been on able to help me and each and everyone of my calls making the process more confusing a more difficult to resolve them I am very disappointed and geek squad and their lack of support professionalism and kindness

    Will never purchase a service agreement that employs the Best Buy Geek Squad again. They don't follow up appropriatly. When I call them I get bounced around a lot before someone gets on the line who bothers to identify themselves and then who is able to even give me details on my order/product.

    Worst extended warranty you could ever buy. They do not tell you everything, They have to spend out your laptop and takes 6 weeks to get back as they wipe everything off the system, and want to charge you $100,00 to show you how to back uno the system,

      Our Geek Squad Protection plans will often require an attempted repair, rather than an outright replacement. We apologize for the length of that repair. In most cases the repair process is much faster than six weeks. Data is not something that is covered under our Geek Squad Protection Plans.     Got a 1yr geeksquad plan, for one of my laptops, at 8 months the mouse pad was erratic. Took it to geeksquad, they told me it was not a hardware issue and couldnt fix it.. Took it to a PC fix and they replacer the part. I waisted my money on geeksquad.

    Sent my laptop off for 2 weeks just to repair the screen have had it back 10 days and its all white screen now great repair for something they could have done in store instead of waiting weeks for it to be done and not done correctly

    My computer is having issues running and geek squad said best they can do is send it off for OVER 2 WEEKS MINIMUM to have it looked at. absolute joke of a warranty wish I never bought it and will not be shopping at best buy EVER again.

    Geek Squad Protection doesn't compare to apple support. Purchased the Geek Squad Protection and was told that I would have to pay a fee for their help...what? I already paid a fee.... not worth it if you have to pay anyway. Very disappointed.

    If i buy a 3 yr protection Plan . I expect my computer to be protected for 3 yrs . but now Ive had 1 incident with one of my computers after one yr, so now they withdraw my protection . its not a very smart thing to Purchase .

    I will NEVER use geek squad again for any service! Not acceptable service for the price of the “protection.” I am no longer buying computers from Best Buy as they do not support their products or hire knowledgeable staff

    My daughter was told the computers I bought for my grandsons didn't have geek squad. She was refused help. Disapointed after paying $79 each for protection on 3 different computers. Best buy you have some explaining to do!

    Waste of money. When you need to use geek squad your coverage is over and your out of luck. For example with my wife's surface 2 months after geek squad coverage was over baicily they said your out of luck. Waste of money.

    Don't waste your time buying this extra junk unless your time is worth nothing. They make you stand and wait while nobody is doing anything until your appointment. Wouldn't even talk to us. What a bunch of bs

    Why did I did the geek squad protection?!?! Waste of time and money. I finally just took my laptop in and left it with them, forever. Terrible service

    I tried calling to get assistance with operating my new computer. I was on hold for 32 minutes. So, I gave up. I returned to Best Buy the next day and got my money back.
