It took me about four minutes to take apart the PlayStation five covers and in screw this in. It took about two minutes to establish on the PlayStation five and I was able to move all of my files onto it very quickly

Great PS5 expansion drive but it's slower than adv

The PS5 recognized and formatted the drive with no issues. Total available space is just over 1tb. Specs state speeds up to 7400 but the PS5 shows a top speed of 5750. There have been no issues with using the drive and it's been great for adding all of our backwards compatible games to the library. For the price, it seems like a great drive, but don't expect to see the rated speeds in your PS5.

I’m glad I waited and discovered the XPG Gammix S70. It’s cheaper (even with the included heat sink) and speeds are even better than the Samsung model. Installation was super easy. Nice to finally have some additional storage for my PS5.

You have to manually stick the heatsink on but it was a breeze (literally peel the sticker off apply it to the ssd. Ps5 games run just fine with no issues.

Quick drive for a good price

Once you watch a video of how to plug it into your PS5 it goes in without an issue. I haven't had any hiccups or stutters with this drive and it allows me to install plenty of games on my PS5. Attaching the heat plate was super easy - just attach and let it sit for a while before exposing it to extreme heat. Normally I avoid SATA ADATA drives but their M.2s seem to be okay.

My one hitch is the "heatsink" it's like a thermal pad, small, thin, but I'm not having any overheating issues. 5 out of 5 would recommend to anyone looking to increase their HDD space cheaply.

Great way to upgrade storage on a PS5!

Only complaint is that Sony only offers a 1TB drive. That is horrible for a system costing so much money. 2TB should have been he minimum with a 5TB option. Buy this! A no-brainer!

Turned on the ps5 and it instantly recognized it and was able to install quite a bit of games on it. Speed is similar to the internal ssd.
