Renee and other Geek squad member came out to my home to do a wire run for my sub-woofers and HDMI. This was not an easy task but they got the job done! They were courteous and professional and most importantly they knew what they were doing. They even calibrated my audio system to ensure I had the best sound quality! Thank you Geek Squad!

Tangled and loose wires behind the TV pictured below which is mounted on stone was too much for either of us to deal with as we both have bad backs. Thanks to Edward and Jesús it is now all cleaned up and working properly. They even had the forethought to leave a string running from the TV through the fireplace and into the hidden cabinet on the other side so we can easily add accessories in the future. THANK YOU JESUS AND EDWARD!!

The first technician (non-Geek Squad) to come to install my Samsung Frame TV said it simply couldn’t be done without major hassle and expense. Fred from the Geek Squad came out and installed it exactly where we wanted it including routing the cable through new conduit in the wall. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and went to great lengths to clean up behind himself. Excellent job.

The employee was knowledgeable and helpful. I wanted to run another TV into my garage. From the employee at the store, to the gentleman he did the estimate, and finally installation was above and beyond and clean work overall.

Total Tech Support Contract Pays Big Diviends

The work was done in an extremely professional fashion. He installed a new Ethernet port in my Study directly from the fiberoptic access box outside so that my modem could be relocated from the Kitchen to the Study. Then he ran an Ethernet line from the Study across the basement to the wall behind the TV in the Great Room. He used the existing wire route that the builders had made for coax. So, drilling required. You'd never know that the house didn't come with these access points. Everything was done so neatlly that there was no need to clean-up. He even tie wrapped all of the extra cords behind the TV. Couldn't be happier! My Total Tech Support Contract has been well worth the annual cost. On this installation alone I saved over $300.

The agents hooked up my new receiver and Dolby Atmos speakers with excellence. My home theater setup is 100%!! And, all I see is floor behind my components because they did a masterful job of organizing my sea of wires, cords and plugs. My next upgrade will absolutely include Best Buy and the Geek SQUAD!

The Geek Squad did a great job hooking up 3 TVs in one install. They were able to also hook up an antenna for local channels to make it more practical Instead of having extra cable boxes and fees per month. They also setup and cleaned everything up and put it all back together when they were finished. I was very happy with their technical skills and knowledge of these Best Buy products. Thank you.

When you buy a used home (i.e. you don't build), it's kinda like a box of chocolates - You never know what you're [REALLY] gonna get. Puttin in home improvements and such can be a REAL challenge, especially when, 20 or so years after the home has been built, you try to pull cable or install something in the house that the builder didn't make provision for, or didn't anticipate you wanting to do 2 to 5 DECADES into the future. Digging into the walls can always be challenging. It's even more challenging in older homes...homes built during the 1980s or 1990s can be especially challenging, as not all builders are created equally. Some... cut corners and often do, in more than one area of your home. Case in point. My home - built in 1990 - had some questionable decisions for water main placement, plumbing, and conduit design, and insulation methods. All of these things made running CAT6e cable in my home all that more challenging. However, my install tech, Steve B., has it goin' on. Steve gave me not only as much time as my install needed, but when confronted with challenges related to how the builder and contractors chose to space studs, run conduit, insulate walls, he was amazing on engineering the pull so that it worked with the flow of the house. His work product protected my walls and my newly refinished hardwood floors. The end results - I have my basement-located home office hardwired and two of three bedrooms (my boy's rooms) hardwired for gigabit fiber internet. It's depressing when you don't see wireless internet speeds above 200Mbps up or down from 1Gpbs up/down Fiber. It's beyond beautiful when you see minimums of 850Mbps up/down off a hard wire in locations clear across the house and either 1 floor above or below the location of the wireless router. All wires are professional end-capped and terminated. Wallplates are color-matched to the white of my baseboards. Steve B. did a great job. Network speeds are solid at all wired locations. I couldn't be happier!
