Gamers Chair for a College Professor!

After a grueling summer of online teaching (very uncomfortable RealSpace chair), I decided to upgrade to.a gamers chair. I saw one of my colleagues sitting in one during a Dept Zoom meeting and asked him if it were comfortable. He said yes and the light bulb went ON in my head: “these gamers sit for hours in their chairs; they have to be comfortable!” So I researched a Herman Miller Aeron chair, DXRacwr, & the AKRacing Pro chair. I decided on the AKRacing chair after speaking at great length with Isaiah at the Camarillo headquarters and finding the chair on sale at Best Buy. After receiving the chair today, it took me a couple of hours to put the chair together, but it looks great and feels very comfortable. Getting it from Best Buy also allowed me to use my Best Buy Rewards certificates and I’ve got 45 days to try it out. The chair is solid & well built, I would recommend.

I have been using a cheap "gamming" chair for a while and I have gone through a couple similar to this, even some that my friends had that are supposed to be more "premium". So I admit I bought this chair with last hopes that'll be decent enough and some doubts, to my surprise this thing is extremely comfortable. You can put it together in 20 minutes or so and the chair itself looks uncomfortable but when you actually sit on it, it's actually nice the lumbar pillow doesn't push me off the seat like other models did and it can rock back and forth incase you just want to lean back. You can actually sit with your legs crossed on it and not worry about the chair going forward or anything like some comments say. This thing is sturdy, it's well built and the wheels roll so smoothly. A solid chair overall. I was debating this or an executive lazy boy chair but I have to say no regrets. It's a little steep on price but hey, you get what you pay for and it has 10 year warranty or the frame and 5 years on the rest of the parts

I bought this chair after having heard it was a great task/gaming chair that offered support in all the right places. Once it arrived, it was easy to assemble and as comfortable as promised. Then I realized it’s also a very attractive chair. Everyone who’s seen it first comments on its looks, then gives the nods of comfy approval. ;-) Great purchase. I say get one of you’re considering a new chair.

A weld in the chair broke after 12 months and AKRacing will not respond to any contact even with a 5 year warranty. Do not buy from this company

Got this chair for my son...The quality is really nice. My son is comfy and with the proportions he is sitting up straight while gaming! Assembly was simple, the chair comes with a colored photograph instruction booklet. I had no issues assembling the chair, no assistance required. We've used the chair for months and the quality is great, solid construction, all steel frame, 4-D armrests, 180 degree recline, and backed by a great 5 year chair/10 year frame warranty. The AKRacing Masters Pro Series Luxury XL Gaming Chair is an awesome chair!

This is a pricing option compared to what I used to but it's a great chair for larger people. I'm 6'1' 255lbs and I've broken a few cheap chairs I've bought over the years from leaning back in them. This feels solid and the fact it's overall larger makes it far more comfortable. The headrest is actually at a usable height and the reclining feature is great. ( if you've never had a reclining gaming chair, it made me nervous the first time laying it flat but I've never tipped it) I will add though this is really made for people about 6' and over if your seated normal in it. I've had friends in the mid 5' range sit in it and with their legs hanging off their back was not touching the back of the chair.

I am a professional writer, fiction author and Hollywood Screenwriter, For years I tried to find the best chair in which I could sit for six to eight hours a day and write without muscle spasms or discomfort. Every time I bought a chair that claimed to be ergonomic, the opposite was true. In 2019, I discovered Masters Series Pro Gaming Chair and figured I might as well give it a try. I have owned this for two years now and have never had a backache (and I have had three spine surgeries with implants) since using this chair. Excellent (adjustable) lumbar spine suppport via padded pillow (very good!) Excellent cervical spine support pillow, very well made. Made with comfort in mind. A plush rubber padded material, wonderfully comfy - Best Office Chair I ever owned. Vey adjustable, height and lounging. Fantastic options! Adjustable arms, height and angle If you are looking for a chair in which you can sit for hours on end comfortably, LOOK NO FURTHER.

for the price i paid, the chair is pretty high quality compared to other chairs i have had... very comfortable for a 255 pound man... also has plenty of options for head rest and back support so i would say it is well worth it... side not though the arm rests seem to move to easy is 1 of my complaints with it... other than that i did switch the head pillow with a bigger 1. other wise i love the chair.

Very nice. Solidly built and very comfortable. I spend a lot of time at my computer, editing photos, and this chair makes it much easier to sit for extended periods without getting a back ache. It's well worth the money.

Good build quality, easy to assemble. The arms dont adjust as high as I like so if you are into that maybe look at another brand. Also, made me a better gamer just by sitting in it.

Sturdy and quality design. This chair looks great but despite the lumbar and back angle adjustment it is not nearly as comfortable as expected. We also discovered (the hard way) that even though it has a wide base - it will roll out from behind you and flip if you lean forward on the front edge ... lesson learned. The chair really does look great and is comfortable for short periods but if you are gaming or working for long periods it may not be the best choice.

This chair is comfortable and the frame, stand and wheels are built heavy enough for me. However the foam for the seat leaves something to be desired. It's not as thick I'd like and gets smashed down much easier than foam in a $500 chair should. Lastly the arm rests are not exactly comfortable. They are "soft" but it seems to be more of a soft plastic than a cushiony arm rest. If I had to buy another chair again I'd look elsewhere. It's not that it's a bad chair it's just a $500 good.
