could not get it to work

I followed the easy instructions and didn’t have to do anything else and it works. I also got rid of extra devices in my streaming accounts.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this because the WiFi signal in my basement is weak and patchy. Instead of boosting the signal it gives off anywhere from 1/4 to 1/3 of the original signal. It's worse than the router it's boosting.

This was somewhat difficult to set up, but I managed it eventually. I am tech savvy. It seemed to work for awhile, but now it is consistently dropping the wifi connection. I will try to return it to the store. But if they don't take it back, I'll just throw it out; it is no help at all.
